Personal protection typically entails the close-protection/ safety of the client while the venue security specialist is the liaison between the band and the local venue security. He advances all security for the tour with the local venue security staff. Which includes going over venue staffing plans and most importantly emergency evacuation plans while coordinating all aspects of tour security.
